Bless: Introduce yourself…

Jonah: I’m Jonah Fallon, aged 19, from Bolton, Lancashire, now residing in Chelmsford, Essex.

Bless: Where did you go2bless? And what did you get up to?

Jonah: This year I Go2Bless’d in Freiburg, Germany! We went out on to a local estate called Weingarten and ran various different activites, sports and crafts for the kids of the estate to take part in. This included face painting and circus skills. More importantly, it meant learning some handy german so we could communicate with the local kids.

Also throughout the week we had time praying and worshipping on the riverbank in Freiburg. This was simply awesome. There was something so liberating about worshipping in a public place where people don’t know about God. I also had the chance to experience some new food in the form of currywurst and doner. I also drank some great coffee during bible study and performed some charades in a talent show.

Bless: What did you learn about yourself and God during your go2bless mission trip?

Jonah: I learnt that I have skillsets that are different to other people, which are equally as important to the functioning of a team when put together. I learnt even more that God is faithful and that he’s a proivder. There were a few times during the week where we really had to just trust in God to provide, and you sure bet he did.

Bless: Describe bless in 3 words…

Jonah: Family - Prayer - Food

Bless: Share a highlight of your go2bless mission trip…

Jonah: My highlight of Go2Bless was seeing what an impact God can make with a few people and some crafts in such a short space of time. Seeing so many people from the community come together joining in with various activities when usually they probably wouldn’t come together like that. God brought real unity amongst the place in which we were serving.
